Location The First Church in Belmont is located at 404 Concord Avenue in Belmont, MA. Parking/Transportation Parking is available in a few locations. The First Church in Belmont has a small lot next to its church building. There is on street parking on Concord Avenue on either side of the street. And there is a public lot on Claflin Street about a 3-5 minute walk to the Town Green. If you are taking public transit: The MBTA's Fitchburg commuter rail line stops very close to the church, and the Route 75 bus stops right in front of the church. Religious Professionals Religious professionals, including seminarians, religious educators, and clergy, are invited to arrive by 3:30 PM and gather in the church. This will provide time to robe (if one chooses) and to arrange the processional. A reception will be held after the service for fellowship with some light refreshments. Belmont Pride Parade & Festival The town of Belmont, MA is hosting their Pride Parade and festival on Sunday, May 31 on the Belmont Town Green, located next to the First Church in Belmont, starting around noon. This is noted due to the potential for increased traffic in the area, and as an invitation to wear some rainbow or glitter to make this day a little more joyful than it already would be.
