What are we going to do at this retreat? Well, aside from just being in meaningful connection with one another, we're going to explore a little deep and meaningful work with a very skillful facilitator. We know that a variety of traumas affect our ministries and communities. And us. How might we recognize traumatic responses within ourselves and our congregations so that we might draw a little closer to thriving? The Rev. Dr. Sarah Lammert will guide us in a time of mutual learning and care.

Sarah has served as a Senior Minister, Executive Leader and Board Member of several nonprofit organizations, including the UUA, Women's World Banking, and the National Conference on Ministry to the Armed Forces. She is a published author, ordained UU minister, and a graduate of Brown University, Starr King School for the Ministry, Boston University School of Management’s Non-Profit Management and Leadership Graduate Certificate Program, and the Center for Justice and Peacebuilding's Conflict Transformation Graduate Certificate Program. She is a STAR (Strategies for Trauma Awareness and Resilience) Practitioner.

Registration deadline is October 1. We do not have an "early bird" discount this time around, but we are inviting you to consider a sliding scale when it comes to registration fees. If finances are the only thing keeping you from attending, please reach out. We have funds available, and we would delight in your presence far too much to allow money to stand in the way.

Here's the registration link again, so you don't have to spend energy scrolling back up to it:

Remote participation is now available! We know that some of you would love to join us, but simply can't be present in person. We've verified with Sarah that all of our program content can be engaged virtually over Zoom, and we're setting up some additional social times to connect for colleagues who need to be remote. We'll even throw in a snack package to provide some nourishment and care over our time together.

We're recommending a $100 registration fee for remote participants. Just use the same registration link ( https://uua.wufoo.com/forms/q1ckp1va0p8fcav/ ), indicate the payment that feels most appropriate to your participation, and indicate in the Special Needs box that you are a "Remote Participant."
