What if?
The Power of Imagination in Times of Change
Led by Rev. Karen Hering
Author of Trusting Change: Finding Our Way through Personal and Global Transformation
This session of embodied practices and guided reflection and writing (for writers and nonwriters alike) explores the powerful role of imagination when ministering in times of great change. In the face of an unknown future, how does asking the question “What if….” open a path to renewal and transformation in our own lives and ministries, in the lives of those we serve and in the world we share? Led by author and colleague Karen Hering, the session will draw from her book Trusting Change and will include embodied practices, writing prompts and time for contemplative reflection.
***Bring what you need to write (a journal or notebook and pen or pencil, or an electronic device) and 2 sheets of unlined 8 ½ x 11 paper (one of them can be colored), a pen or pencil and another of a different color, and tape or glue.***
