POD OFFERINGS DURING THE FALL 2023 CONFERENCE

1. There are two official PODs at this point (mid-July). One will be held at the UU Congregation of Wilmington DE with RICHARD SPECK as host and registrar. For more information about the Wilmington Pod, Richard can be reached at rgspeck@comcast.net.

2. The other official POD will be held at Seabeck Conference Center in Washington State, with JACO & BARBARA TEN HOVE as hosts and registrars. NOTE: The program at Seabeck begins with dinner on Sunday evening, October 22, and ends after lunch on Wednesday, October 25. For more information about the Seabeck POD, Jaco and Barbara can be reached at jbthishere@gmail.com and revbabs10@gmail.com respectively.

3. There is a third Conference POD location being organized in New Hampshire by KATHLEEN HUNTER, who has booked the Concord UU Church, which has offered their space free of charge. Since Concord is the capital of NH and the church is near the center of the city there is ample accommodation (airbnb, motels, hotels), plus a variety of restaurants at all price levels. Concord is only a few hours from Boston and connected by inexpensive, frequent bus service. It’s possible that leaf-peeping season will not be over when the conference is over. The ME and NH coastlines are less than two hours away. And of course, best of all, you will be with colleagues to participate in a lively and interesting conference.
