Chesapeake UUMA Chapter Meeting, Wednesday, May 24, 2023, 10:00am-12:00pm, via Zoom

This is an important meeting as we will be honoring the many milestones of our members, saying farewell to our colleagues who are leaving the area, and electing a new communications lead for CUUMA.

As in past years, the election will be conducted via a sociocracy method, which consists of two rounds: an initial nomination round and then a change round.

We urge you to consider nominations for the communications lead.  The duties of the position are as follows:

• Welcome new members; be a point of contact for chapter information.
• Notify the entire LT when someone new joins the chapter
• Help administer the mechanisms and conduct the communications of the chapter: UUMA site, Googlegroup, and Facebook group (in collaboration with the Convening Role)

Also, we will be having a casual and fun fellowship (rain or shine) at the UU Congregation of Rockville on June 10 (Saturday) from 11 am until 3 pm. Details will be forthcoming. But please save the date in the meantime.
