An Off-Site retreat for Aspirants and Candidates adjacent to UUMA Ministry Days
(This program will be based on the similar content as the November 2022 retreat.)
Description: This multi-platform retreat is offered with the option for you to gather in person in Pittsburgh, pre-Ministry Days, or with colleagues in local pods, attending via Zoom.
For On-Site Registration, CLICK HERE.
Participants will take a deep dive into personal and collective discernment practices through poetry, embodied ritual and deep listening. With attention to theological framing and sustaining practices to support flourishing ministries, we’ll play, learn and rest in a community of care. The retreat will include approximately 10 hours of programming with ample opportunities for relaxation, recreation and networking with peers. Programs will begin at 1pm Eastern on Sunday, June 18 and will end at 3pm on June 19. We ask that you plan your travel so that you can attend all sessions. The UUMA will reimburse your meals that are not included in programming up to $50/day. Additional reimbursement policies can be found HERE.
Guidance around creating off-site pods (where a small group gathers at a retreat center or in other accommodations) are available for interested teams; email Favreault@uuma.org for details.
Please note that only the retreat programming (not the collegial time) will be streamed via ZOOM so the on and off-site participants will have different experiences.
