In 2019, the UUMA published Continuing Education Standards along with a section at UUMA.org where members log their hours of continuing education completed. Now that we have more than three years of experience with the Standards, it is time to assess. Specifically, how well do the Standards and recording platform meet the needs of the UUMA membership? The first stage of this assessment is focus groups – two with those actively using the system and two with those who have not or found the system challenging.
We invite you to participate in a focus group - the focus groups will discuss the Continuing Education standards, the platform for recording and tracking hours, and accountability. Information obtained in these focus groups will help us refine questions for a subsequent survey to all members in Full Fellowship and will help direct our efforts to improve the system.
We would greatly appreciate your input in one of the focus groups. Please select one of the two dates to participate in a virtual focus group. We would like the focus groups to have five to eight participants, so the event is capped at 8 participants. We will email the questions a day or two before the group meets.
