Pacific Northwest Chapter Retreat
April 17-19, 2023, beginning noon Monday and concluding at noon on Wednesday.
Our registration form is now live for our spring Pacific Northwest UUMA Chapter retreat. We'll gather from noon on Monday, April 17, through noon on Wednesday, April 19, in Edmonds, Washington, and on Zoom. Our presenter will be Chris Crass; Chris describes his work as "dedicated to building powerful working class-based, feminist, multiracial movements for collective liberation." You can read more about him at his website: http://www.chriscrass.org/
Our registration form is available here: https://forms.gle/r9xkLKKDJHkJnfLG6
We will once again be creating a hybrid retreat based in a hosting congregation, local pods, and Zoom. Your retreat planning team continues to work toward a future retreat at a traditional retreat center for an upcoming gathering. We have also noted the strong desire for our Fall 2023 retreat to take place over a weekend, Friday-Monday.
Our registration costs are on a sliding scale from $150-250; if your financial resources allow, we would appreciate payments on the higher end to balance out a higher fee for this retreat's presenter, but as always please pay what is right for you.
Lodging in the Edmonds area may be arranged individually or in pods; there is a space on our registration form to indicate if you'd like the retreat team to facilitate matching you with a pod. Some scholarship funds are available to offset the costs of lodging; contact Katherine Jesch at kathjesch@earthlink.net for more information.
You can reach Monica Jacobson-Tennessen at monicajt@uuma.org with questions for the team. We look forward to connecting with many of you, in person and online!
